This 24-hour continuing education package is designed for Michigan Certified Nurse Aides who need to complete the continuing education portion of their two-year certificate renewal cycle.
Michigan CNAs are required to complete at least 12 hours of continuing education each year, for a total of 24 hours during the two-year renewal period. This package includes courses addressing the required topics of abuse, neglect, and care planning, along with additional healthcare-related education designed to support continuing competence and safe, effective resident care.
**All courses included in this package are approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing for continuing education.** Michigan's Bureau of Community and Health Systems accepts qualifying online and in-person continuing education that is accepted by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
The package allows CNAs to conveniently access the full 24 hours needed for the two-year CE cycle in one purchase. Learners should complete at least 12 hours during each year of the renewal cycle and plan their course completion dates accordingly.
